Shipping & Returns

Every order is confirmed by invoice before work begins or an item ships. Nothing is charged automatically on this site.

Local pickup and fitting

Made-to-order Qipao is completed with a local final try-on and pickup in Bellevue, Washington, by appointment. Appointments are typically weekday evenings, 7:30–9:00 PM.

Shipping

• Made-to-order Qipao pickup is preferred after final try-on. Shipping may be arranged case by case for returning clients after the balance is paid.
• Ready-to-wear may be shipped, or collected in Bellevue by appointment. Outbound shipping is quoted on the invoice.
• Orders are dispatched within 3–5 business days of cleared payment unless stated otherwise.
• Shipping cost and applicable sales tax are calculated on the invoice, not at the time of inquiry.
• Tracking is provided by email once the parcel is dispatched.

Production timing

Typical made-to-order production is 4–6 weeks from approved work order. Additional layers, piping, pattern matching (对花), and advanced techniques can extend this. Any change to the agreed timeline is communicated directly.

Alterations to a ready-to-wear piece take 7–11 days. Payment is collected in full before alteration begins.

Returns

• Made-to-order garments are final sale once the work order is approved and the production deposit is paid. They are cut and constructed to your measurements and cannot be resold. Fit is confirmed at the final try-on before pickup.
• Pieces purchased at the studio are final sale, regardless of additional alteration performed by the studio.
• Ready-to-wear that has been shipped may be returned within 3 days of delivery, provided it is unworn, unaltered, unwashed and in original, resalable condition. Returns are not accepted after that period, and no refund is issued.
• To begin a return, email sales@xingyujiatelier.com within that period. The studio provides the return label; its cost, and the original outbound shipping, are deducted from the refund.
• The refund is issued to the original method of payment once the return is delivered and has passed inspection.

An in-person try-on and pickup is recommended for ready-to-wear.

Damaged or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged or is not what was invoiced, email sales@xingyujiatelier.com within 3 days of delivery with photographs. We will repair, replace, or refund it.

Payment

Invoices show Bellevue sales tax at 10.3%. Paying by Zelle earns 3% off, applied to the subtotal before tax. Every invoice shows the calculation before you pay. Zelle payments are final and non-reversible.

Made-to-order commissions begin with a $300 production deposit.
